Please be informed that the WIEF Registration Team will start issuing tags for registered delegates from 26th October 2013 onwards.

Information Counter

The Information Counter will assist delegates with inquiries on the forum programmes, transportation arrangement, lost-and-found information and tour arrangements and etc.

Forum Secretariat

The WIEF Secretariat will provide all necessary information related to the forum. In addition, they will be responsible for distribution of forum documents and speech transcripts.
Speakers are requested to send in any materials with regards to their (i.e. power point slides etc.) to the Forum Secretariat with regards to your presentation/speech.
*To support environmental protection efforts, WIEF will endeavor to reduce the production of documents. Only limited quantity of documents will be circulated at the conference venue and delegates can get access to all documents at http://www.9thwief.org/Media-Centre/Download-Centre.aspx.

Media Centre

Journalists can retreat to the Media Centre located on Level 3 of ExCeL London, where they will have access to all necessary facilities such as internet access, fax, printers and photo copiers at the Media Working Area as well as refreshments at the Refreshment Area.

Note: Press Conference will also be held at the Media Centre.

Meals

Breakfast: Delegates will have their breakfast at their hotels. Delegates can include breakfast when reserving their rooms.
Lunch: Meals will be provided for all delegates from 29th October to 31st October at ICC Capital Hall, Level 0, ExCeL London.
Tea break/Refreshments: Tea, coffee and snacks will be available during the morning and an afternoon coffee break.
*Non-delegates, accompanying persons, spouses and other working staff can have meals at all restaurants of hotels, etc. at their own expenses

Working Languages of the Forum

The working languages of the forum will be English. All plenary sessions will have simultaneous interpretation through SIS devise. Interpretations provided include; Russian, French, and Arabic during all sessions.

Simultaneous Interpretation System (SIS)

Delegates requiring SIS device will find them placed on the seats in both ICC Capital Hall and ICC Auditorium. Headsets are not to be brought out of the hall and must be placed back on the seats before leaving the hall.

Badge

For security reasons, only those delegates wearing a valid 9th WIEF badge will be allowed entry to the Forum sessions, exhibitions and social events. It is also required for meals and shuttle services. Please make sure that your badge is visible to our security staff at all times. Our security staff has been instructed to question anybody without a valid badge. No access will be permitted to all forum venues without badge.
To enter the Forum venue you will pass through several security checkpoints and your belongings may be searched. Please avoid carrying any sharp objects such as pen knives, scissors, etc. as this may cause delay.
Information of lost and damage of badges must be immediately reported to the Forum Information Centre.

Dress Code

Business attire is required during the Forum.

Fire Procedure

All visiting delegates must make themselves aware of the Fire Procedure notices, which are located throughout the site. These notices contain information as to the action to be taken in the event of discovering a fire, hearing the fire alarm sounders and with regards to the designated areas of assembly after evacuating a building.

Insurance

Forum delegates are advised to carry their own insurance.

Liability

WIEF is unable to accept liability for loss or damage occurring to any property or motor vehicle left, deposited, or parked on site.

Lost Property

Any enquiries regarding lost property should be made with the WIEF Secretariat, who will endeavor to locate the property in question.

Please turn off your mobile phones and other electronic devices or switch them to silent/vibrate mode during the sessions.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited at the Forum venue.
